Helping the poor High School graduates from villages in Lombok one of 17,000 islands in Indonesia, to become Nurses or English Teachers. They then become role models in their villages. Our long term goal is to obtain
assistance from U.S. organizations to train them to fight rural health problems in Lombok.

children 42.2%, Under-weight children 28%.
Human resources in Indonesia: Doctors of modern system (per 10,000 population) 2 (32 in DPR Korea), Nurses 13 (37 in DPR Korea).

Among the poor in India, the handicapped children are often viewed as a curse on the family. There are hundreds of handicapped High School graduates with tremendous potential for university education. SOTI helps these neglected poor.
