Click to see full-size image Our mission is to touch the lives of the disadvantaged High School graduates from remote parts of India and Indonesia. Their parents can barely manage to feed and clothe them so that they can graduate from High School. They live on less than $2 a day and cannot afford the annual average cost of $3,000 for university education.

According to a BBC news report dated August 12, 2008:
The most recent government figure is that about 26% of India's population are officially classed as poor - that is people getting less than the minimum number of calories regarded as necessary for survival.

We are also dedicating our efforts to a remote island in Indonesia. Our long term goal is to educate the village High School graduates to become leaders of their community to address rural health problems through existing infrastructure. These graduates do not even dare to dream University training because it is beyond their reach.

More than half of Indonesia's 235 million people are poor. Most struggle to survive on less than US$2 a day, and are at risk of even more severe poverty. About 18 per cent
live on US$1 or less. Approximately 60 per cent of the population lives in rural areas where agriculture is the main source of livelihood.
